Who we are
Bay Gate Locksmith San Francisco is an independent locksmith shop working San Francisco and the towns over the county line across San Francisco, CA. This covers baygatelocksmithsf.com and the job records made from it. The number goes to our own dispatch, and no request made here is sold on.
Why we are careful with an address
Telling a locksmith that you are locked out of a particular flat is telling a stranger that the flat is open and you are outside it. That is why the list below is short, why it is not shared around, and why it is deleted when the reason for holding it ends.
What the quiz collects
Name, phone number, the neighbourhood, an optional email for a written figure, and your description of the door or lock. It is the only form on the site: no account, no newsletter, no chat widget.
Filed with it: the page the request came from and any campaign tag in the link, which is how we tell which pages bring work.
Buildings, managers and shared doors
Work on a lobby door, a garage gate or a unit in a managed building usually means a second name in the file — a manager, an owner, a neighbour who let us in. Those details are treated exactly like the customer's own and are kept with that job alone.
The phone line
(628) 363-2407 is a tracking number on Twilio, forwarded straight to dispatch. The carrier logs the calling number, the time and the duration; the conversation passes through unrecorded. In a stairwell with no signal, that log is how we call you back.
Booking online
The booking button hands you to Nexfield (nexfield.pro), the scheduler this shop uses. Name, number, address and slot are entered there under Nexfield's terms and arrive here as a job. The same windows are bookable on the phone.
No cookies at all
PostHog counts visits in cookieless mode, so nothing is written to your device and no consent banner is needed. Replay is off and automatic click capture is off. Four events: page opened, phone tapped, booking tapped, quiz submitted.
Block us-assets.i.posthog.com and the counting stops; the site is unaffected. No advertising pixels and no retargeting tags run here.
Calls and texts
A number left with us is used for that job: price and window confirmed, technician named, arrival flagged. Not marketing, and no campaigns afterwards. Carrier rates apply, STOP ends texts immediately.
Recipients
The carrier, Nexfield, our dispatch and — with card payment — the processor at the technician's terminal. Nobody else.
Nothing is sold, rented, traded or handed to another locksmith or contractor.
Retention and deletion
Job records stay while the warranty runs and while tax and lien rules require them; key codes and door details tied to an address are dropped when the job closes. Email info@baygatelocksmithsf.com for a copy or for erasure.
A California resident may, under the CCPA and the CPRA, ask what is held, order it deleted, and require confirmation that none of it was sold or shared. Same address, or (628) 363-2407. Asking changes nothing about your service.
Children
This site is aimed at residents, landlords and drivers, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13.
Changes
A change in the facts means a rewrite here, and a new date at the foot of the page. Earlier wording is not archived here.
